Renae Jean Capote, age 53, of Austin, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Adams Healthcare Center. Renae was born April 28, 1959 in Austin to Russell and Rose (Burton) Allen. She grew up in Austin. On July 17, 1982 she married Juan Capote in Austin. Renae enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being a mother and grandmother. One of her favorite things to do was "Sunday Movie Night." The entire family and often friends would camp out in the living room while watching movies and snacking on pizza and popcorn all night. Renae also enjoyed family vacations, camping, fishing, and going on the Mississippi River. She was well known for her love of cooking and throwing dinner parties. Renae has the unique ability to make those around her feel safe and loved, it didn't matter if it was the neighborhood kids down the street or someone who had just moved to town without a stable living environment.
