Walter Krebsbach

Walter Krebsbach, 92, of Austin, Minnesota, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Grand Meadow Care Center. He was born October 16, 1920 in Johnsburg, Minnesota to Matthew and Christina Krebsbach. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. On January 20, 1945 he married Ann Gilgenbach in Seattle, Washington. Walter worked for the Hormel Company for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann, parents, three sisters and one brother. Survivors include: sons: Duane and Randy of Austin, daughter Janet Dapper of Minneapolis, granddaughters; Emily Dahlstrom and Melissa Molitor, brother Ambrose (Helen) Krebsbach of Rose Creek, Minnesota, sister Angela (Joe) Slowinski of Austin.
