Jean King

Jean Rita King, age 79, of Austin, died Friday, July 5, 2013 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home. Jean was born August 20, 1933 in Austin, Minnesota to Alfred and Clara King. She grew up in Austin and graduated from Pacelli High School. Jean worked as an executive secretary at Hormel Foods. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Clara. Jean will be missed by many. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am on Monday, July 15, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Jim Steffes officiating. There will be no reviewal. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to St. Augustine Catholic Church or the Mower County Humane Society. Arrangements by Mayer Funeral Home.
