Betty Leeper

Betty Lou Leeper, age 88, of Brownsdale, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at St. Mark's Lutheran Home. She was born February 1, 1925 in Austin, Minnesota to Axel and Minnie (Orr) Olson. Betty graduated high school in Austin. She worked at Hormel Foods for a number of years then worked at the Brownsdale Elementary School as a teacher's aide for 17 years. Betty finished her working career at IBI Data in Brownsdale. Betty married Fay Leeper on July 5, 1947 in Brownsdale. Survivors include her children, Kathy Leeper, Brownsdale, Steven Leeper, Brownsdale, Fay "Baldy"Leeper, Rochester; grandchildren, Kayla Leeper, Mantorville, Elle Leeper, LeRoy, Beth Leeper, LeRoy; a niece and two nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; son; two brothers; parents. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery in Brownsdale.
