Angela Slowinski

Angela Emma (Krebsbach) Slowinski, age 86, of Austin, died Tuesday morning, July 23, 2013 at Sacred Heart Care Center. Angela was born September 30, 1926 in Johnsburg, Minnesota to Matthew and Christina (Juenger) Krebsbach. On September 5, 1950 she was united in marriage to Joseph Slowinski in Johnsburg. Angela was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother who was always there to help. She found happiness in doing for others. Angela enjoyed the outdoors and loved working in her flower garden, sewing, baking, bowling with her friends on league, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all. Survivors include five sons, Alan (Roxann) Slowinski, Lansing, MN, Jack (Donna) Slowinski, Kasson, MN, Roger (Jean) Slowinski, Gretna, NE, Larry (Tammera) Slowinski, Forest Lake, MN, Robert Slowinski (Juan), Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two daughters, Anita Fett (Jeffrey Lindroth), Bruno, MN, Shirley (Brad) Finke, Austin, MN; 25 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; brother, Ambrose (Helen) Krebsbach, Rose Creek, MN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Slowinki; parents; sisters, Marie Homez, Genevieve Pavlik and Odelia Mayhew; brothers, Walter and Wilfred Krebsbach; grandchildren, Daniel and Jessica Slowinski; son-in-law, Randy Fett. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Dale Tupper officiating. There will be a 4 pm CCW rosary and a 6:30 pm wake service on Tuesday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4-7 pm and also one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Condolences may be left online at www.mayerfh.com.
